Where dental fees come from
Most Ontario dentists base their fees on the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) fee guide. The guide is updated annually and lists a suggested fee for every dental code. Your fee may vary depending on the complexity of your case.
Routine care
Most patients see a hygienist every six months. A new-patient exam, professional cleaning, and X-rays as needed are the foundation of preventive care. CDCP and most private insurance cover these visits in full or close to it.
Restorations
When decay or damage needs to be addressed, tooth-coloured composite fillings restore small to medium cavities, while crowns and bridges restore broken or missing teeth. A root canal plus a crown afterwards is often the right choice for a tooth with a deeply infected nerve.
Implants and orthodontics
A single dental implant with a crown is one of the most durable ways to replace a missing tooth. Clear aligners such as SureSmile® Aligners and Invisalign handle most adult orthodontic cases discreetly. Cost depends on case complexity, and we share a clear written estimate after your consultation.
How to make care affordable
Insurance covers a large share of routine and restorative care, and we provide direct insurance billing if applicable. CDCP covers eligible patients for most basic services. For the rest, Beautifi financing offers flexible monthly plans. Ask for a written estimate before any major treatment so you are never surprised by the bill.
